Privacy policy

The short version: we collect what the waitlist form asks for, we use it to contact you about Zing, we never sell it, and one email removes you. The long version is below, in plain English.
Who we are
Zing (zing.financial) is a pre-launch financial product for online founders. This site exists to explain what we're building and to run a free waitlist. For anything in this policy, contact us at dlieberman@zing.financial.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect exactly what the form asks for: your first name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and your answer to the question about who your current bank is built for.
That's it. The site does not run advertising trackers, and we don't collect payment details, ID documents, or financial account information at this stage.
How we use it
To manage the waitlist, to contact you about early access and launch (by email or phone), to send occasional updates about Zing, and to understand where founders on the list are based so we can plan the regional rollout.
We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
Where it's stored
Waitlist submissions go to our customer relationship platform, HighLevel (GoHighLevel), which processes the data on our behalf. Its servers are based in the United States; where data moves internationally, it does so under the safeguards the platform provides for that purpose.
Legal bases (UK / EU)
If you're in the UK or EU, our legal bases are your consent (you chose to join the waitlist) and our legitimate interest in telling the people who signed up about the product they signed up for. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we're using it. One email to dlieberman@zing.financial does any of those. If you're in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
Retention
We keep waitlist data until you ask us to remove you, or until it's no longer needed for the launch it was collected for. Delete requests are honoured, not queued.
Age
The waitlist is for founders aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date below. We won't quietly repurpose your data for something you didn't sign up for.
